Akobirkhon SalikhbaevAko has over 10 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, treasury, and investment analysis. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise across equities, fixed income instruments, mergers and acquisitions, financial modelling, and strategic investment activities, working closely with financial institutions, investors, and senior stakeholders across international markets.
As Senior Executive Officer of Magnum Ventures, Ako is responsible for overseeing the firm's strategic direction, business operations, and corporate governance framework. He brings significant experience in evaluating investment opportunities, portfolio oversight, transaction execution, and stakeholder management, supported by a strong understanding of capital markets and financial products.
Prior to joining Magnum Ventures, Ako served as Manager and Chief Investment Officer for Equities and Fixed Income at Sofemi Overseas DMCC in Dubai, where he was involved in investment strategy, portfolio monitoring, market analysis, and investment decision-making. Earlier in his career, he spent more than seven years with IFC Global Finance, a specialist investment banking and M&A advisory firm, where he participated in numerous financial services transactions.
